​Job Title: Quality Controller

Location: Chichester, PO20 1LL
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday (weekend work as required)
Pay Rate: £12.57

About the Role

We are seeking QC to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming stock - including plants, ceramic pots, glass vases, and baskets - ensuring everything meets our quality standards before reaching our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Unpacking pallets and checking components for damage, quality, and completeness.

• Recording detailed notes and evaluations on stock quality.

• Checking plants for pests, disease, and overall health; watering stock as needed.

• Picking sample plants from nurseries for customers.

• Supporting other areas, during quieter periods.

Required Skills & Attributes

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.

• Basic plant knowledge or willingness to learn.

• Good communication skills for reporting findings to supervisors.

• Fluent English speaking and understanding.
