Store Operative

Responsibilities:

To be able to complete basic store cleaning tasks.
To be able to complete basic store repairs, exp.: paint, use hammer drill, spanners.
To be able to collect and run Fruit SAMPLES.
To be able to organise the cleaning of stores and equipment.
Training provided to be able to use pressure washer, tower and scissor lift.
Training provided to understand the need of Air & CA Storage to maintain good quality fruit.
Training provided to be able to pressure test the stores.
Training provided to basic knowledge of store readings.
Training provided to be able to seal and Open Stores.

Personal Qualities:

Enthusiasm, self-confidence and self-motivation.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Ability to work in a team
Ability to use initiative and be pro-active
Flexible approach to tasks undertaken and working hours

Requirements:

Good communication skills
Proof of Right to work in the UK
Basic level of English
Understanding of Maths
Previous experience working within a similar role within the fruit industry
Driving Licence essential
Able to work some weekends by discussion
Start Time 6am
Pay Rate From; £13.43 -£15.16
