Checklist

Important things to do before you leave...

  • Make sure your inoculations are up to date for example Tetanus & Tuberculosis
  • You have understood the Terms and Conditions to which you are being employed
  • You have understood the Wages and Deductions as set out in your Employment Letter
  • Check that your Passport and or I.D card is valid


Important things to bring with you...

  • Up to Date Passport and or I.D Card plus additional two passport sized photographs
  • Travel Tickets
  • Employment Letter
  • Warm Sleeping Bag
  • Suitable Footwear (preferably waterproof)
  • Towel and Wash bag to include soap, toothbrush/paste etc
  • Clothing suitable for the changes in UK weather for example waterproof jacket, jumpers and tee shirts
  • Medical Forms E128 or EHIC
  • English currency to cover first two weeks before pay day
  • International Driving Licence
  • Travel Adapter – should you bring hairdryers, mains operated radio’s and shavers
  • Books/Magazines


On your arrival...

  • You will be met by a Pro-Force representative
  • You will be allocated your accommodation
  • You will have a tour of the site and facilities


On your first working day...

  • You will be shown instructional videos
  • Health and Safety induction
  • General farm rules induction
  • Assistance in opening a UK Bank Account
  • Assistance in Applying for National Insurance Number
  • Meeting members of the Farm Team
