Job description
We have positions for Packhouse Managers in the fresh produce sector. This is a hands-on role organising and managing the workload and managing staff. A working knowledge of fresh produce or coming from an agricultural background would be beneficial.
Experience in the following would be ideal:
- Managing and motivating production staff, preferably in the fresh produce or food production sector
- Ability to improve efficiency in a production/packhouse environment
- Understanding of production processes and equipment
- IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Outlook
- An understanding of health and safety and quality management
