Job description

Our Hampshire based client is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to manage the Nursery’s Production and Sales. The purpose of this role is to develop the business through improved efficiency, producing high quality plants and delivering a service that exceeds customer’s expectations.

The job will include managing the business on a day to day basis, implementing, overseeing and monitoring the production plans and supervising the customer orders from receipt of order to delivery. Other duties will include managing the purchasing for the nursery, building relationships with key suppliers and to proactively seek and recommend opportunities to profitably advance business growth.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum 3 years commercial management experience, practical hands on experience of production, planning and scheduling and posses a working knowledge of hardy nursery stock production.
