​UK Government Extends Seasonal Worker Visa Program to 2029

The Government has announced a five-year extension to the seasonal worker visa route scheme until 2029. This extension provides much-needed certainty for employers in the food supply chain who rely on seasonal workers to help meet demand during peak seasons. With 45,000 seasonal worker visas available for 2025 and plans for future numbers to be outlined later this year, businesses can now better plan for their workforce needs in the coming years. This extension will help ensure that the UK's food production and food security remain strong and resilient.
